S t o r y 

This work is based on Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. The basic 360 Modena model was introduced in 1999 to replace the Ferrari F355. The design was entrusted to Pininfarina, a famous Italian coachbuilder with which Ferrari has been collaborating for a long time. The aerodynamic and elegant design is characterized by fluid lines and meticulously carved details, incorporating distinctive elements such as the side vents inspired by the Ferrari 250lm.

The 360 ​​Challenge Stradale also marked an important step for Ferrari, since it was equipped with a completely aluminum chassis and body, a first for the brand. Aerodynamics was particularly highlighted in the Stradale version, which presented a double diffuser capable of generating 180 kg of DownForce.

 C r e A t i o n  P r o c e s s s 

Each creation begins with a phase of research and of documentation On the model, its origins, her designate but also on the aspect technical. 

The work illustrates the influence of Michael Schumacher, who actively participated in the technical development of this car. As usual, the work of art also includes precious mechanical drawings, presenting the complex details of the fabulous V8 engine of the Ferrari from two different angles.

The first phase is to draw the pencil of each sketch, this work is careful and ask for a big mastery To capture all the details of the Ferrari. Then the watercolor painting phase and finally highlight the details with a black pen.

After the drawing phase, the artist scans his drawings to be able to clean them and make the layout on professional software. 

All the process, from the search phase to the layout phase takes approximately 7 days to the artist.
