STORY

The Mercedes G-Class, launched in 1979, was originally designed for the military, with a boxy design and ultra-rugged construction that made it an off-road legend. It owes its existence in part to a special order from the Shah of Iran in the 1970s.

Over time, it has evolved into a luxury vehicle without losing its adventure DNA. The arrival of the G63 AMG version has taken this model to a new level: with a powerful AMG-signed V8 biturbo, the G63 combines the military heritage of the G-Class with extreme performance and refinement. Today, this model is the ultimate symbol of power, luxury and robustness, a true automotive icon.
